Adventure Together's Director, Fiona Rouse, met her husband travelling in 2000 whilst they were both working in the tourism industry. Wanting to start a family straight away in their home country of New Zealand but not wanting to give up their love of adventuring they decided to combine the two, getting a passport for their first child when he was just 5 months old and backpacking around the islands of Samoa with him. A memorable 4 week trip to Sri Lanka was next on the list when he was 20 months old. Not long after that their second child was born and a passport for her was shortly procured so they could head off to the Fijian Islands. Since then they have lived in the Middle East for 4 years and have visited over 30 countries together around the globe, often linking up with extended family and friends to enrich their experience.
Adventure Together was born out of this passion for travel and the many requests Fiona and her husband received from friends and colleagues who wished to take their own families on this type of self guided, truly authentic holiday but felt they lacked the time, knowledge or confidence to plan it themselves.
The photos on this website give you a glimpse of some of the adventures of Fiona, her family and her clients.
Adventure Together is excited to be able to share their knowledge with you, giving your family the map to get off the beaten track.
